Our Story
FMCH GROUP originated in Cabinda and started with only two containers sold in 2014. With all the experience gained over the past few years, we have built up considerable knowledge of lubricants as a technology, with a specific focus on the Caltex and Mobil brand.
2014-2016
A global network of professionals ranging from manufacturer, distributor and logistic companies in order to source the right products and import to Angola. Between 2014 and 2016, we have supplied bespoke CALTEX lubricants to CABGOC (Cabinda Gulf Oil Co ltd) and won the distributorship of CALTEX for Angola.
2016-2017
Proficiency in managing the logistic complexities involved bringing the product to remote bases, in 2016 we won the tender to supply all lubricants to CABGOC (Cabinda Gulf Oil Co ltd) and by 2017 – we were supplying 25 containers per year.
2019
We started supplying MOBIL and SHELL products in 2019, where we later evolved into a solutions provider in the lubricants and filters space. As our company grew, we established warehousing in Viana, Luanda and Malembo, Cabinda.
2021
In 2021 we changed our name from FMCH GROUP to LUBEX Africa, to be a better fit and to capture what we are trying to do as a company. Lubex has evolved to become a specialised & reliable lubricants supplier. Today, we see an exciting future; especially after our 2018 partnerships with ESS Angola and ESS Industrial village (previously Malembo Development Centre).
Our Vision
By growing, training and up-skilling our team locally our goal is not just to supply but also to create a “lubricant expert culture” to differentiate ourselves. This will be achieved by sharing and transferring knowledge that stems from the diversity and experience of our management team.
Lubex finds itself in a strong position to supply all the lubricant needs our CLIENTS may have with excellent relationships with two of the biggest names in lubricants manufacturing (CALTEX and MOBIL)
