At Lubex Africa, supporting communities is part of who we are. We invest in education, health and sport because stronger communities create brighter opportunities for everyone.

By listening to local needs and working alongside our employees, partners and community leaders we turn ideas into meaningful action. From helping children begin the school year ready to learn, to supporting healthier families, every initiative brings us closer to the people and communities around us.

Guided by integrity, partnership and responsibility, we are committed to making a positive difference that extends beyond our business.

In December 2023, Lubex Africa launched its first Corporate Social Responsibility initiative by sharing the spirit of Christmas with communities in Malembo, Cabinda. Lubex Africa supported more than 20 local families through a Christmas community initiative. Our Cabinda team distributed essential food hampers, clothing and children's toys, helping to bring practical support and festive joy to families in need.

The collective efforts reflect our continued commitment to supporting the communities where we operate and creating a positive local impact.

A new school year brings fresh opportunities. On 3 October 2024, Lubex Africa helped 450 children in the villages of Siadede and Lelo start the 2024/2025 school year ready to learn.

Our Cabinda team distributed backpacks, notebooks, pencils, coloured pencils, erasers and other essential school supplies. Joined by local education and municipal representatives, the initiative brought the community together in support of its young learners and reflected Lubex Africa’s commitment to creating brighter opportunities for Angola’s next generation.

Healthy communities begin with practical knowledge and the right support. On 3 April 2025, Lubex Africa brought together families, healthcare professionals and local representatives in Cabinda for an informative workshop on cholera prevention, hygiene and early treatment.

Alongside the workshop, our team donated bleach, soap and deworming medication to support more than 550 children. With guidance from Doctors Ilda Ngimbi and Lídia Miguel and the support of Deputy Administrator Pedro Quelan, the initiative helped turn health information into practical action supporting safer, healthier communities.

Lubex Africa was proud to support “Quem Sabe Sabe,” an educational and cultural programme bringing students from schools across Malembo together to learn, connect and celebrate local culture. Launched in December 2025 by the Malembo Commune School Department, the initiative encourages creativity, skills development and knowledge sharing. In January 2026, Lubex contributed materials to support the programme’s activities another step in our commitment to creating meaningful opportunities for the communities where we operate.

The “Quem Sabe Sabe” programme came to a rewarding close in Malembo on 6 June 2026, celebrating the knowledge, talent and teamwork of local students. With Lubex Africa proudly supporting the initiative, top students were recognised for their achievements in Portuguese, Mathematics and General Knowledge, while winning football teams received trophies celebrating teamwork, discipline and sporting spirit. A fitting end to a programme that brought students together to learn, compete, connect and grow.
